HEALTH CARE:

Boyd Grain strives to offer the most affordable healthcare coverage for our employees. Discounted rates on health, dental, and vision care are available to your family as well. Your eligibility for health insurance plan begins on the 1 st day of the month following 60 days of continuous full-time employment.

  • Employee only coverage is available at $5 per week (for non-tobacco $5,000 deductible)

401 (K) RETIREMENT PLAN:

All Boyd Grain employee drivers are eligible to participate in the 401(K) plan beginning the first quarter following

90 days of employment. Money contributed by the driver is always fully vested and may be moved should you leave.

We match dollar for dollar up to 3%, and then 50% of the next 2% that you contribute. Money matched by Boyd’s is

fully vested after 3 years of employment.

Driver Pay Scale Jun '18

Of this pay rate, 2 cpm of it will be in the form of a safety bonus. That 2 cpm will be paid out in a lump sum monthly.

*Percentage drivers' safety bonus will be an addition to their % pay.

 

Safety Bonus Disqualifications are:

  • 4 or more serious log violations
  • 12 or more infractions
  • A speeding ticket or warning for 7 mph over the posted limit
  • Being in the bottom 7% of the fleet in idle percentage
  • A preventable accident causing over $300 in damage

 

New drivers will be given a 30 day grace period on learning the e-log system before it affects their bonus.

The number of log violations or infractions allowed will be cut in half after 4 months.
